Hi all. I hope it’s ok to ask a question.
I understand that the iPhone camera’s HDR feature takes several shots at different levels of exposure and then combines them into a composite image with the best possible exposure. Does this then mean that adjusting the exposure manually for a shot (by swiping up and down) is pointless if HDR is turned on because the level of exposure you’ll end up with will be different from the one you chose? Further, does this also mean that the different Portrait Lighting modes will also end up not being exactly what you chose with HDR turned on?
Basically, is it only possible to get exactly the level of exposure you want if you have HDR turned off for the shot? Thanks
