I had this image source automated sorting on Android, between photos you have taken, images you downloaded (with specific folders, from facebook, from reddit…).
iPhone’s stock gallery app has the screenshots album or video album but hidden below, which is annoying, and by default shows literally everything in the « recent » folder, which makes it a huge mess to scroll through. Also I don’t care about calendar sorting.
I have googled and tested everything I could find, but I don’t think I came across an app that does this, although some offer smart albums by specific camera, which I don’t care about.
Ideally what I’m looking for has:

Smart albums by source at least your photos versus anything else, whether screenshots or downloads. This is the absolute must.

Ideally, I really would like to be able to create smart albums based on 2 criteria or more, but I’m not sure you can find that on phone.

Ideally, has a lock option, but otherwise I’ll manually import albums in the vault once in a while.

In a fantastic world, would sync with my mac and keep the albums structures there, but hey, come on. (One does this but doesn’t fill my most important request.)
Until now the best I could find is Photo Album Private Manager, where I can at least import a whole album from the library, such as the screenshots album, and lock it there, it’s manual but ok, but still there is no Downloads album in the stock library, and the Recent folder in the app is still a mess.
I know this is a lot to ask, but at least for image source smart albums, I don’t understand why it’s so hard to find or what obvious tool I missed.
