Hey guys.
I always used to edit my photos with Lightroom mobile and VSCO on my phone. Now lately I started to rethink my editing process once again and since I always take RAW‘s with Halide I wasn’t sure about how much sense my usual editing way still makes.
So far I first used Lightroom to do the overall editing of the RAW and than saved it as a jpg and dropped it into VSCO for a nice Filter. I did this because it made more sense to me, to edit the light and details first and finish it up with the filter. The problem now that makes me wonder is, that when I use Lightroom firstly i have to save it as a jpg and maybe loose information when editing this jpg with VSCO right?
The other way would be to drop the RAW into VSCO and do the filter first and from VSCO it will stay a RAW when saving it and then go into Lightroom secondly to do the lights and stuff and save it as a jpg then.
Wouldn’t the second way lead to more quality and information in the final result or am I completely wrong here?
Share your opinion and thanks in advance!
