I already published my recommended iPhone Camera Apps and recommended iPhone Photo Editing Apps for 2020. So, what's missing? Right. My recommended iPhone Photo Accessories for 2020. And there you go!
Recommended iPhone Tripod
A tripod for iPhone is essential if you want to take a long exposure with iPhone either top capture motion or to take photos at night with your iPhone.
Back in my DSLR-era, I had to carry a heavy tripod that's capable of holding the weight of a 3lbs+ DSLR camera.
Not so for iPhone. Tripods for iPhones can be notably lighter and, thus, are ideal for travel photography. I use two different kinds of tripods for iPhone that I recommend. The first one is the Joby Gorillapod Magnetic. That's a small and lightweight tripod that fits into any bag and even into the pocket of your jacket.
A Gorillapod has flexible legs. So this tripod will securely stand on any surface, and you can even wrap to around stuff like handrails. Even better, the Gorillapod magnetic has, as you may have guessed from the name, magnetic feet. These magnetic feet allow you to attach your tripod to any magnetic structure, even upside down.

I recommend the Gorillapod Magnetic for iPhone because:
- It's small and light and thus fits into any pocket and is ideal for traveling.
- The flexible legs provide a firm stand on any surface, and you can even wrap the legs around things.
- The magnetic feet allow you to turn any metal structure, like a light post, into a tripod.
- It's outstanding quality and long-lasting. I have mine for almost seven years, and it still works without any sign of being worn out.
I have a full Gorillapod magnetic review in the blog. Don't forget that you'll need a special tripod mount for iPhone like the Joby Griptight mounts.
The second tripod I used was the AmazonBasics Travel Tripod. But it recently broke due to a mishap. I was disappointed to see that this tripod is not sold anymore. So I got myself a new tripod from Rollei and will publish a full review soon. Meanwhile, if you'd like to get it, the Rollei Compact Traveler is available from Amazon.
Recommended Power Bank for iPhone
Especially when I spend a day out shooting, I need an external power bank. I never make it through a day shooting with a full charge.
I'm a huge proponent of Anker products for charging. I had several power banks from others that were either recalled due to fire hazards or their capacity dropped significantly after a few months.
I use and recommend the Anker Powercore 26.800 power bank. That one is a real power horse and will bring you and even a second person through a whole weekend without running out of power.
Anker Power Core 26.800
This power bank is also great for travelers. As you may know, power banks on planes are limited to 100Wh. Despite its enormous capacity, the Anker power core 26.800 is carry on compliant. I've written more about that in my Anker Powercore 26.800 review.
The power bank charges up to three devices at once and comes with two micro USB charging ports to reduce the time needed to charge the power bank itself.
If you're looking for a smaller and thinner power bank, check my review of the Anker Powercore 10.000 Slim. That's a perfect everyday power bank.
Recommended iPhone Lenses
In the past I've been using the Moment Wide, Moment Telephoto and Moment Fisheye Lens.
But iPhone 11 changed things a bit as Apple gave us iPhone Photographers an ultra-wide-angle lens. In the past few months, since the iPhone 11 was released, I found myself using mainly the Moment Fisheye and Moment Telephoto lens.
The Moment Telephoto lens is an excellent addition to your iPhone 11 (without pro) as Apple does not ship this model with a telephoto lens. And even for the iPhone 11 Pro, the Moment Telephoto Lens is an excellent addition as you can mount it over the built-in telephoto lens effectively, resulting in an almost 4x optical zoom.

The Moment Fisheye Lens is a great lens to capture even more of a scene than you could with the built-in wide lens. I've updated my Moment Fisheye Lens review for the newly released 14mm Fisheye Lens.
Summary
With all that stuff, you're perfectly equipped to take stunning travel photos with your iPhone. All of this stuff, along with the iPhone camera and photo editing apps are listed on the iPhone Photography Overview page that I keep current throughout the year.
And now, let's take fantastic travel photos with iPhone together.
