For our videos, we often film outdoors and we have a lot of changing light. It’s often very cloudy and the light will change during filming a scene.
In the example below, at the 3:14 mark, it went super dark with a blue sky behind us. We ramped up the exposure and contrast, but it’s made the clouds look like cardboard cutouts. Also, in some scenes, the light changes, and if we ‘blade’ and correct the exposure, you see obvious jumps.
